The 2026 Villages of Scugog Mural Marathon was more than a weekend of painting. It was a celebration of community, creativity, and the people who make Scugog such a special place to call home.
Over three incredible days, participants of all ages came together to transform five blank mural panels into vibrant works of public art celebrating Manchester, Cadmus, Nestleton, Prince Albert, and Epsom & Utica. Every brushstroke contributed to something much larger than a mural. Together, we created a lasting tribute to the stories, history, and character of our villages.

Coming Soon: The Big Reveal
Although the painting is complete, one exciting chapter still remains.
The five new murals will soon be professionally installed by Sensational Signs, joining the original five on the west wall of the Scugog Arts Space to complete the full 10-panel Villages of Scugog public art installation.
This installation marks the completion of a project that has brought together hundreds of community members, countless volunteer hours, and an incredible amount of creativity. We look forward to sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the installation process before revealing the completed mural wall for the very first time.
