Shelby’s Artistic Journey
2011-2013 Completed a “Visual & Creative Arts Diploma,” at Sheridan College
2013-2017 Completed a “Honours Bachelor of Illustration,” at Sheridan College
In the summer of 2016, Shelby interned with illustrator Gracia Lam at co-working space,“The Station,” 41 Richmond Street West, Toronto
2017 Shelby showcased her Illustration Thesis at the “2017 Illustration Graduate Exhibit:UNSEEN (theme)” Her second semester thesis presented book cover designs from novels featuring the theme of Underdogs. The books chosen were: Precious, The Help, Holes, and The Hunger Games.
From 2017-2019 Shelby has been marketing work mainly at, “The Framer’s Gallery” in Port Perry and showcased her Christmas Tree designs at “The Piano Cafe,” during the fall season of 2017. She is continuing to build her portfolio to be able to exhibit more extensively.
