Linda Virio

Encaustic & Watercolour Painter

“With wax or watercolour, I create paintings from images, flowers and objects collected while roaming the farms and forests of my local countryside.” 

Linda is a visual artist, inspired by gardens, forests, fields and farms. She works primarily with wax to create encaustic and watercolour batik paintings, playing with vibrant colours and contrasting textures. Linda works out of her home studio near Bowmanville, Ontario. She also teaches workshops and shows her work locally.
