Kirsty Naray

Mixed Media Artist

Glass, fibre and metal are my favourite artistic mediums. Incorporating these into new works is both a joy and a challenge.”

I have been a glass bead maker since 1993 and have enjoyed showing my work in shows and online for many years.

For the past five years, I have also been working with fibre. I have added needle felting, nuno felting, wet felting, spinning and Saori weaving to my work. Recently, silversmithing and metals have also become important and I’m now exploring new ways of combining these mediums into unique works.

Kirsty is a Resident Artist at the Scugog Art Space. You can always find her work here at 175B Queen Street Port Perry!
