“Inspired by the things I love. Street Art, Graffiti, Vinyl Toys, Punk Rock, Tattoos, Skateboarding, and anything else that catches my eye.”
Classic story, old as time. I have been doing art my whole life, I never took it very seriously (not too sure if I fully do now if I’m being honest) but I have found my stride and have been honing in on the style I can call my own. I am 32 years of age, I reside on Scugog Island and I am a proud member of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. I did have some formal art education at Durham College where I attended the Foundations of Art & Design course and I completed a year of Graphic Design before I decided that It was not what I wanted to do full time. Everything else is self-taught and I am still learning every day. I have had the pleasure of doing lots of local design work in and around Scugog and the GTA. A few I am very happy about are the new logo for the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation (2018) and I completed a couple of murals in Port Perry High School (2019).
As for the future, I am hoping to create enough work for myself to keep myself employed as a full-time artist and things are definitely looking good.
