Jasmine Rutschmann
Metal Artist
Ontario-based artist, Jasmine Rutschmann, has been honing her skills in handheld plasma cutting for the past several years. With three generations of welders in her family, her passion for working with metal comes naturally.
Jasmine’s evolution into sculpture has paired with an environmentally conscious medium. Her use of reclaimed materials such as oil tanks, wheelbarrows, and shovels focuses on sustainability. Jasmine challenges the boundaries of metal reinvention – utilizing intricate detail to tell stories, which explore the depths of composition with light-dark space on a three-dimensional object.
