“Inspiration for me, comes from fleeting moments of life. I enjoy doing portraits of children in the studio as well as plein air landscape paintings. Both subjects inspire me to try to capture moments in time but in different ways.”

I was born in Owen Sound, Ontario and began drawing and painting at an early age. After graduating from Seneca College, I worked as a law clerk in Toronto. After having children, I decided to pursue my lifelong interest in art and I attended art school at the Academy of Realist Art for classical art training. Emotion is the driving force of my artwork and I am inspired to capture fleeting moments on paper and canvas.
