Scugog Shores Fibre Artists Guild

The Scugog Shores Fibre Artists Guild is a  group of people united by our interest in fibre. Our members enjoy spinning, weaving, basketry, felting, knitting and a wide range of other fibre arts. The guild is a member of the Ontario Handweavers and Spinners.

The fibre artists held a full day of demos in our space as part of our May festival, small town BIG. Including live sock knitting, sashiko mending, sheep to shawl – carding, spinning, weaving, and knitting. The fibre artists will be joining us again for Culture Days in September for a spinning and weaving demo at the Scugog Memorial Public Library.
