Laura Taylor-Shields

Laura Taylor-Shields is a local artist from Uxbridge, Ontario.  A multi-talent artist and maker. Painting in three mediums, jewelry made from beads, crystals and chainmaille and a variety of needle art.  Presently in her 29th year with TPS, working as a 911 dispatcher, Laura uses her creative talents as a form of stress relief. Her inspiration comes often from her travels.

Laura can often be found using her talents to help her community and local organizations in fun new in ways. Her most recent efforts at  helping out the local animal sanctuary and the local legion poppy fund through the sale of non medical masks.  Her Present project is organizing  a collaborative community effort of the Uxbridge Poppy Project, a display to honour our veterans past, present and future this November.
