Inspired by where she lives and plays, Janet creates with acrylic, watercolour, and mixed media. Using soft muted earth tones, layers and textures she gently echoes the outdoors. Her layered compositions are both a visual and tactile connection to the tranquil spaces she lives in. Janet’s warm vibrant autumn leaves, painted in translucent watercolour layers, mirror those surrounding her home every fall. Each piece evolves slowly and thoughtfully from Janet’s riverside studio near the small lakeside town of Port Perry, Ontario.
