Youth Intro to Cartoon Character Design
About the Course:
Enter the fantastical world of cartooning and all the behind-the-scenes magic that goes into creating the wonderful characters seen in comic art and animation in this fantastic introductory course, hosted by Aishah Tabassum. Through a mix of lessons and hands-on sessions, participants will learn various concepts and techniques for how to bring characters to life. By the end of this course, participants will be able to convey bold themes and personality through brilliant cartoon art.
About the Instructor:
Aishah Tabassum artistic practice strikes a balance between both acrylic painting and digital art, mastering both subtle expression through her semi-realistic painted portraits with spontaneity and vibrancy in her cartooning. Together, she explores how different visual languages can express the same idea and how art has the ability to connect people on an emotional level.
