Outrageous Movie Screening and Author Discussion

Join us on June 14, 2024 at our “Outrageous!” event honoring local queer history and supporting Pride month in Durham. We’re thrilled to present a private screening of the iconic film “Outrageous!” (1977), starring the incomparable female impressionist Craig Russell, a true luminary in our community.

Let’s celebrate his legacy and vibrant tapestry of queer culture through this cinematic journey.

WHERE: Scugog Memorial Public Library

WHEN: June 14, 2024 from 6-9pm

Brian Bradley author of “Outrageous Misfi ts”, the biography of Craig Russell and wife Lori Russell Eadie will be speaking about his research and signing copies of his book.

20 lucky attendees will receive their own free copy of “Outrageous Misfi ts” personalized by the author. This is a free event but we will be taking donations on behalf of the AIDS Committee of Durham.
