Intermediate Encaustic at Meta4

If you have some encaustic experience, you can take it a few steps further in this intermediate class with popular instructor Linda Virio. Linda will demonstrate and explain more advanced techniques/tools and revisit important concepts such as composition. Under her expert coaching you’ll have more time for more undirected play/creation time. Each student will work on their own piece. Bring a reference image or two.  

 Prerequisite: intro to encaustic or previous encaustic experience. 

Instructor: Linda Virio 

Duration: one day, 10 am to 4 pm. There will be a 1-hour break for lunch (lunch is not included) 

Course fee: $160 (+ $45 materials fee payable to the instructor) 

Your materials fee covers your encaustic supplies and support. A materials list will be emailed in advance. Students can bring a variety of mixed media elements to incorporate into their design.
