Professional Development Workshop: Google My Business for Beginners

Google My Business is an important tool that enables business owners to manage and optimize their business profiles on Google. It helps people find your business when searching for products and services similar to yours in the area. This workshop is designed for artists and small business owners that want to be found online and off, as well as those that want to direct more traffic to their websites on Google. This 1-hour class will teach you how to set up a Google business listing and tips for troubleshooting.

This workshop will be taught by Melissa Rada. She is a two-time Durham College graduate holding a graduate certificate in Advertising – Digital Media Management and an advanced diploma in Music Business Management. Melissa is a creative and passionate digital media manager with successful experience in content creation, along with developing and executing digital strategies that breed engagement. Melissa is also the Operations Manager at Scugog Arts!
