Coastal Reflections Gallery Show and Q&A with Birgit Pullen

Experience Coastal Reflections! An art exhibition of sea scapes and abstract paintings by Birgit Pullen. Birgit aims to capture the essence of a subject or feelings and is a trailblazer of boundless imagination. This exhibition focuses on the elements of the natural world, while seeking to capture the flow, feelings and essence of these key components. Birgit has enjoyed art throughout her life and has taken a variety of different courses, but only emerged herself in it after retirement. Like many artists, she sees an endless supply of ideas and uncharted territory yet to be explored. By experimenting with different mediums she finds her own style and is constantly trying out new colours and techniques. The final creation of an art piece is intriguingly unpredictable with results that range from surprising to exhilarating. Birgit is a self-taught artist, always residing close to rivers or lakes which fuels her boundless imagination. She has been painting and creating artwork most of her life, inspired by nature and incorporates materials found in nature, like rocks, driftwood and vines Birgit Pullen will be exhibiting her work from Sept. 10th to Oct. 9th.
