Big Theatre 4 Small Spaces: The Grand To Do
July 28 @ 7:00 pm - July 30 @ 8:30 pm$25
Theatre on The Ridge is proud to present its Big Theatre for Small Spaces series.
Their first production, running July 28, 29 & 30 @ 7PM is a premiere staged reading of The Grand To Do by Belleville playwright Peter Paylor.
Rory and Kira navigate life with to-do lists, they have their own, then there’s the shared list, their daily lists and, of course, there’s the big one: The Grand To Do List. Getting married was on it, but they did that. The kitchen got painted…yellow. Rory got that big promotion. So, what’s next? Really? That? They’re going to need help with that one. Their friend Patty’s great, but she’s not much help. Maybe Rory’s piano teacher Benjamin can help. Maybe lists aren’t the answer. Maybe it’s all just a Grand To Do.
“The Grand To Do is proof that something can come of nothing. It’s a funny, loving and heartwarming play about family…and it couldn’t have come at a better time.”
Performances will occur in the courtyard behind the new Scugog Arts Space location at 175B Queen Street. All shows will begin at 7 PM. Tickets are $25 each and are available here: http://www.theatreontheridge.ca/whats-on.html
