“The Art and Craft of Theatre”
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Theatre 3×60, a recipient of a 2016 Spark the Arts award, in conjunction with its Port Perry Summer Theatre season, presents a visual show of set designs, props and costumes with descriptions from various local performance groups.
Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays for live play readings and music cabarets throughout July.

“VIVID”
June 4 – 25, 2016
June brings a new exhibit to The Scugog Council for the Arts Gallery called “VIVID”. The SCA is featuring two artists with complementary work to participate in this show; Colin Whitebread and Kirsty Naray.
Colin paints lively bold landscapes in vivid acrylics.
Kirsty works with glass in equally bold colours that will delight the viewer.
“VIVID” Opening Reception will be held Saturday June 4 from 1 – 3:00 pm at the SCA Gallery, 181 Perry Street, Port Perry. The exhibit runs through Saturday June 25. SCA Gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Gallery is wheelchair accessible.
“The Art of Books”
features original illustrations and books from
Joanna Malcolm, Karen Richardson, Carol Matsuyama, Pamela Meacher and Robin Vandervleuten.
Celebrate all things literary at the SCA this month “The Art of Books” runs through May 28, 2016.
Canada Strong and Free
15 unique quilts celebrate Canada. Come in and see what these talented stitchers have created. Provinces and Territories are represented, as are group quilts. Exhibit runs March 5 to 26, Tuesday to Saturday. The SCA Gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wheelchair accessible. Public washrooms available.
