The Scugog Council for the Arts is the official Scugog information source for local artists and arts events and culture entertainment. We know the latest on local theatre, music, arts shows and tours, arts education, artists, organizations and galleries in Port Perry and Scugog. Each November, we present Showcase of the Arts, a weekend of visual and performing arts festivities, held in Port Perry, north Durham's travel destination and home to a multitude of talented artists and cultural organizations.

The SCA Boardwalk Art Fair September 26, 2010!
The SCA is introducing a new juried fine craft and art event this year – the SCA Boardwalk Art Fair, to be held on Sunday, September 26 in Port Perry’s Palmer Park. This outdoor art exhibition will take place on the beautiful revitalized waterfront in conjunction with the Port Perry BIA’s Harvest Festival and Cultural Days, a nationally promoted arts & culture celebration.
The new boardwalk and landscaping are part of a $10 million investment in Port Perry’s waterfront. Already the site is buzzing with activities as locals and visitors enjoy this beautiful new community space. The new Boardwalk Art Fair will take advantage of this picturesque setting and the thousands of people who come to the BIA’s Harvest Festival and Chilli Cook-off. Admission will be free.
